CPA PTO Update Nov 2021

Here are some updates on the work of your PTO so far this year and announcements for upcoming events: 

  • Treats for Teachers – PTO provided snacks and drinks to our wonderful CPA staff one day in October. We are working on expanding this effort to provide treats on a regular basis and let our teachers and administration know we appreciate them!   • Donations – Suggested membership donations of $5 per person help support our school community. The donations received so far are much appreciated! You can donate via PayPal or check (CPA PTO, c/o College Park Academy, 5751 Rivertech Ct., Riverdale Park, MD 20737). 
  • Parent Grade Level Representatives – Thank you to those who have volunteered. We still need a parent or two for the high school grades. You can help define these flexible new positions with the main goal of helping promote PTO activities to fellow parents. Please indicate your interest in serving on the PTO membership form or email the Executive Board at
  • Fundraiser at Franklin’s Restaurant, Brewery & General Store – Tues., Dec. 21st – Save the Date to dine in, carryout, or just shop at Franklin’s in Hyattsville, and PTO receives 20% of the proceeds. Full details on our website and the attached flyer.
  • Virtual Town Hall/PTO Meeting, Thurs., Dec. 2nd, 6pm – PTO will have a virtual meeting immediately following the Town Hall with the Principals. Please see school announcements for the link.
